The role is working within a well established busy accountancy practice.

The role will consist of the following:
Payroll
- Accurate & timely processing of a high volume of weekly and monthly payroll including auto enrolment as part of a team
- Setting up of new payroll schemes
- Processing statutory claims - SMP, SPP and SSP etc
- Completing and submitting CIS Returns
- Liaising & communicating with clients on a regular basis
- Liaising with HMRC where necessary

Bookkeeping
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Ledger reconciliations
- Bank reconciliation
- Review of debtor and creditor accounts
- Payroll journals
- Use of cloud packages including Xero, Quickbooks and Sage
- Preparation of VAT Returns
- Reconciliation of VAT
- Query resolution and problem solving

Salary is dependent upon experience.
