Development and Progression Within Mental Health Services at MPFT - YouTube
- Provide appropriate assistance and support to people who contact the service and their carers. This will include supporting individuals to access health, social care, community services and mainstream community life
- Complete an assessment with people while considering their financial and other resources, enable them to access support services which will assist with their health and social care needs.
- Contribute to and monitor risk assessments and risk management plans, using a traffic light system in consultation with appropriately qualified team members in line with Trust Procedures, involving other professionals as required
- A commitment to delivering a flexible service which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
- To supervise and assist the Assistant Access Navigators on the Access Team to ensure a quality service is provided.

The Staffordshire Mental Health Access & Helpline Team is the first point of contact for people requiring a mental health service.
- We receive allnew referrals
- We contact those individualsby phone to identify their needs
- We receive calls to ourhelpline
**What you will get**:
- An annual salary of up to £26,282 (37.5 hours per week) depending on experience

**Things that you will have**:
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent and willing to undertake additional qualifications in Health and Social Care
- Experience of working within a health and social care environment with a focus on mental health
- Previous customer care experience.
- Strong team-working skills
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
- A commitment to high-quality care and values and evidence-based practice
- Excellent teamwork skills, and professionalism
