**IT Assistant**

**Location: Stratford - Upon - Avon**

**Salary: up to £35,000**

**Contract: 40 hour**

A brand-new opportunity for an IT Assistant to join Unique Senior Care. This is an exciting time to be joining Unique Senior Care - a leading provider of services in the home for people who want to continue to live independently. At Unique Senior Care we rely on our IT systems to power the solutions that help manage our team members, branch network and central office. We are seeking an IT Assistant who can join us to ensure the stability, reliability and security of all aspects of the branch network infrastructure whilst enabling us to improve our IT solutions. In this role, you will analyse our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training.

**ROLE PURPOSE**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions
- Continuously analyse current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement
- Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analysing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs
- Work alongside the business delivery teams to ensure a wide understanding and true accountability of how technology underpins the business - ensure operational ownership
- Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed
- Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups

- Strong creative and analytical thinking
- Degree in IT or Computer science desirable
