We are looking to hire an experienced, professional, competent heavy plant machine operator who take pride in delivering high standards of work. Can demonstrate you have the knowledge and competency to operate our machines in a safe, efficient and controlled way. And, undertaking general site duties as they arise is a must.

CPCS (blue) competency ticket for multiple machines is required. (CPCS Red Trained card and/or NPORS with CSCS logo will be considered).

As an experienced operator, you will understand and appreciate the importance for well maintained, well operated and cared for machinery.

You must adhere to all aspects of health and safety, whilst having the ability to approach and resolve problems logically and efficiently.

**Duties to include**:

- Prepare heavy equipment by conducting operator inspections and essential routine preventative maintenance.
- Accomplishing work tasks by operating heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner, whilst observing varying conditions and adjusting equipment controls.
- Ensure you maintain a safe, secure, clean work environment by following standards, procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Continue to keep heavy equipment working by following operating instructions, trouble shooting breakdowns, calling for repairs.
- Daily plant / equipment inspections and monitoring are essential and to be completed in accordance with company requirements.
- A willingness to update job knowledge and skills by participating in training opportunities.

**Skills, experience and additional requirements**:

- CPCS Blue Competent Card Qualification _(Essential)_
- CPCS Red Trained Card Qualifications _(Considered)_
- NPORS _'_**with cscs logo'**_ Qualifications _(Considered)_
- Full Clean UK driving licence _(Essential)_
- Other Industry Qualifications such as SMSTS / SSSTS / First Aid at work a benefit

**Remuneration and Benefits**
- Permanent, Full-time position (_Self-Employed applicants will be considered)_
