**Next step - MLRO**
**Are you looking for a clear career path to an MLRO role? Because that’s precisely where this role leads.**
You’re probably currently in a Financial Crime management role but your ultimate career goal is to become an MLRO.Your next move is critical if you’re going to successfully achieve your goal further down the line. What you ideally need is a Senior FinancialCrime Manager / Deputy MLRO position that will then allow you to make that next step up.
Here’s your chance. This firm’s Head of Compliance & MLRO is looking to hire someone who can take on the MLRO function a little further down the line, allowing them to focus on Compliance management. This is an ideal opportunity to step up and show whatyou can do. You’ll have plenty of autonomy but also have the opportunity to learn from a highly experienced Head of Compliance & MLRO whilst you continue your personal development.
You’ll oversee and evolve the existing Financial Crime Control Framework across both 1st and 2nd Lines of Defence to ensure it keeps pace with business growth and you’ll also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures and reviewingand approving high risk accounts.
You’ll be working for a very successful international payments firm that is a FCA regulated EMI. They are embarking on a period of significant scale-up, particularly here in the UK, meaning this is a great time to join the business.
You’ll be an experienced Financial Crime specialist with strong experience in the payments or correspondent banking arena, with a proven track record of evolving existing frameworks, policies and procedures.
You’ll also be happy to roll up your sleeves and 'get stuck in’. Whilst you’ll be able to draw upon the resources of an offshore AML team, you’ll still need to be happy getting your hands dirty from time to time
**Does this sound like you? Are you up for the challenge?**
Not got an up to date CV? Don’t worry, send over what you have and we’ll pick it up from there.
