Assistant Ecologist

BL Ecology Ltd is pleased to announce a vacancy for an assistant ecologist role also with involvement in our practical arm of the business, BL Habitats. We pride ourselves on

a week. The full time, permanent role will include a varied amount of field work, habitat management and report
writing. We pride ourselves on being framework partners for clients which want to go over and
above, these include the Environment Agency, Yorkshire Water and Defence Estates.
We are looking for applicants who have an interest in both practical habitat management and ecological consultancy.
**Required**:
legislation, planning policies and licensing regulations
Full UK drivers licence and use of your own vehicle (mileage expenses paid)
Good communication skills, specifically written English and report writing skills,
assimilating ecological data and presenting relevant information well
Energetic and willingness to undertake practical work and office based work.
