**The Business**:
We are a family run business who have been manufacturing Kitchens since 1982. To date we have over 350 staff working from 9 sites across Yorkshire, including one beautiful showroom. With us being one of the market leading kitchen manufacturers in the UK, we pride ourselves in offering the best products on the market for affordable prices.
**The Role**:
As our Showroom Receptionist, you’ll be working in our only showroom based here in Yorkshire. Our stunning showroom attracts hundreds of customers every day from across the UK to view our stunning kitchens, get advice on products and how to plan their kitchen from experts in the field. It’s a fast-paced environment with tons of customer interaction, and we pride ourselves on our no-pressure sales approach, just providing customers with high-quality advice and information so that they feel confident purchasing their kitchen from us online.
**Working Hours**:
40 hours working Wednesday - Sunday, 10-6pm.
**Pay: Dependant on experience**
**Main Responsibilities -**
- Welcoming customers to the Showroom and explaining how the business operates
- Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
- Answering basic questions on how to find information or get support
- Checking stock levels and ordering replacements of consumables in the showroom (i.e. leaflets, pencils, planning guides, refreshments)
- Answer incoming calls to the Showroom Reception
- Log returned door samples for refund
- Update customer information notices around the Showroom
- Other admin duties are required
- Thank customers upon leaving and check if they need any further information
**Mandatory skills**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Smart appearance and professional, as the face of the company
- Ability to remain calm, friendly and approachable under pressure
- Technologically competent/computer literate
- Flexible attitude to working hours, as during busy periods additional hours may be required
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
**Desirable skills**:
- Experience working in the kitchen industry would be advantageous, however not essential as this role does not involve giving detailed advice to customers
