**Purpose of the job**
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic person to be a Wellbeing Job Coach. You will be working with Worcester Community Trust on a Lottery funded wellbeing contract. The appointed person will be required to support customers who are furthest from the labour market and support individuals through a tailored and creative plan, to enable people to reach their full potential. You will need to be able to run weekly Wellbeing Job Clubs and work with customers on a one-to-one basis.
**Main Duties and responsibilities**
- Personal targets to include face to face employability support to participants referred to the service. To ensure appropriate and effective activity, to enter education, training, or employment, according to their level of job readiness. Also, to increase positive mental health, and increase levels of confidence.
- Run weekly Wellbeing and Job Clubs at 3 WCT Hubs each week.
- Identify barriers to employment and assist participants with job readiness skills, job search strategies, CV building and preparing for job interviews.
- Keep up to date with legislation and best practice on employment advice, welfare benefits, energy, and financial inclusion.
- Publicise to participants information and guidance on changes in welfare benefits and employment support.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key partners.
- Ensure positive working relationships are maintained to enable participants to take advantage of these services, including liaising with local, statutory, and voluntary agencies and community groups.
**Other responsibilities**
- Help to identify your own training needs and participate in training when requested to do so.
- Ensure that all financial guidelines and procedures are understood and adhered to as appropriate.
- Act as an advocate for WCT and work closely with partners organisations.
- Observe the WCT code of conduct and policies and procedures.
- Act as a good role model and champion best practice always.
- Ensure that you take positive actions to safeguard children, young people, and vulnerable adults you meet, and follow correct WCT policies and procedures around safeguarding appropriate to your level of post.

**Desirable**
- 2 years + experience of Employment advice or Job Coaching.
- 2 years’ experience giving advice and Guidance.
- 2 years + experience of charity, social enterprise, or voluntary sectors.
- Experience in delivering Employability workshops.
- Experience of building strong partnerships to develop collaborative working, business opportunities and developing services.
- Experience and understanding of adhering to GDPR and Safeguarding principles.
- Commitment to WCT values and willing to act as a role model.
- Ability to priorities own workload and to work effectively under pressure and achieve personal contractual project targets.
- Experience of keeping manual and computerised
- records - external contract administration, training records, learner files etc.- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including training.
- Must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle, and able to travel around Worcestershire.
- Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) qualification Level 3 or 4, or a willingness to work towards this.
- Adult Learning Qualification.
- Assessor Award (A1 or equivalent).
- Experience in a Wellbeing role
