**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner to join our growing team of award-winning Landscape Planners based in Glasgow.
We have an expanding portfolio of challenging and high-profile projects including the design and assessment of renewable energy projects (on and offshore wind and solar), routeing and assessment of strategically important electricity transmission infrastructure, landscape character and sensitivity assessments and working with protected landscapes.
We are seeking a Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner to support our wide portfolio of projects across Scotland, and the wider UK.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Project Managing and leading the delivery of a wide range of projects fulfilling the role of Project Manager, under the directorship of Project Directors.
- Providing high quality reporting, and ensuring the deliverables meet our highest quality standards.
- Line Managing and mentoring our consultant (graduate and year out student) level colleagues.
- Liaising with and forming a key point of contact for clients, and internal and external team members supporting business development initiatives in line with the LUC Strategy.

If you are keen to be full time office-based we can discuss this option with you during the recruitment process. There will also be travel required to visit sites, client offices and other office locations.
A full-time role would be based on 37.5 hours Monday to Friday. However, LUC has a strong track record in flexible working and we have been recognised for our flexible working culture, so we are happy to discuss a range of flexible working options for this role including part time hours (minimum 30 hours per week) if desired.

This is a great time to join LUC. Since its creation nearly 60 years ago, LUC has been driven by the belief that planning has a critical role to play in shaping the world around us for the better. This work has never been more critical or urgent.
The role includes the opportunity to share and participate actively in the management and ownership of the business through the Employee Ownership Trust. Being employee-owned gives us the independence to do things our way and grants every employee the power to shape our future, together.
**About you**:
Supporting us in continuing to resource and deliver our exciting portfolio of projects to an excellent standard, we provide the ability for the individual to develop and lead their own project workload.
You will be highly collaborative and people focussed with a positive outlook that will help to motivate the team and engage with clients.
