**WAREHOUSE / FORKLIFT OPERATOR - JOB DESCRIPTION**

Please note this role is a mix of general warehouse and forklift duties.

**AVAILABILITY**

Start date
- ASAP

The role is full-time Monday to Friday — may include weekend shift work in the future

Applicants must be over 18 years old

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Warehouse Operative will support the team in the following tasks:

- Accurately picking orders using a handheld terminal to ensure our customers receive the correct items
- Packing orders efficiently and carefully — it’s part of your responsibility to ensure that customers receive their items in an excellent condition
- Arranging orders for shipment and collection
- Receiving and packing away deliveries
- Operating the forklift to manage incoming and outgoing goods
- General housekeeping and stock counting
- Soon to include production line work in near future

**ABOUT YOU**
- Extremely organised and takes pride in maintaining processes with accuracy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with all team members and management
- Experience of working in a production line environment
- Adaptable nature and thrives well under pressure
- An eye for detail and accuracy is essential
- Qualified FLT Counterbalance License
- Computer skills are desirable for using the computerised warehouse system

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
