**Location**: Head Office, Lockerbie

**Contract**: Full Time, Permanent

**Salary**: Competitive

**Hours of Work**: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am - 5 pm (40 hpw)

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

The role of the Project Assistant will support the company’s accounts department with the administration of setting up contracts, producing project costs, reports, and assisting with the day-to-day departmental operations.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the key duties and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

- Providing administrative support to the Finance Manager and wider team.
- Creating new contracts from confirmed sales which includes setting up customers and clients on the company’s internal systems and entering budgets into Business Central.
- Entering timesheet information onto spreadsheets to create time postings and distributing promptly to key personnel.
- General maintenance of live projects including closing jobs as completed and chasing up open purchase orders.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience of working in an administrative role.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Software.
- High level of accuracy with attention to detail.
