Up to 22.5 hours per week (part time)

The post holder will work within the Physical Heath Rehabilitation Psychology (PHRP) team, part of the Department of Physical Health Psychology. The role is primarily based in Kendal, though travel to Barrow will be required in line with service need. The post is not suitable for applicants who are seeking a virtually based role.

The Department offers specialist psychological input across Cumbria to patients with health problems, and associated psychological difficulty.

PHRP aims to promote psychological wellbeing for patients with Long Term Conditions (LTCs), for example COPD, coronary disease, diabetes, cancer needs.

This post holder will work within this comprehensive pathway built on a biopsychosocial model. The pathway will work across secondary and primary care with interface with acute services, providing therapy and indirect care to patients with a combination of physical health problems and psychological problems.

**Standard Check**: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

**Enhanced Check**: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
