Transport Planner

Then look no further we may have the role for you Our Macclesfield Aggregate Sales branch is going from strength to strength and have an opportunity for a Transport Planner to join their team.

**Where will I be based?**

Reporting into the Branch Manager, the role of Transport Planner will be based in our **Macclesfield Aggregate Sales **branch. The branch already has a fantastic, well established** team of 10** who are multiskilled. The branch runs a large fleet of delivery vehicles around the North West and the Branch Manager has created a vibrant environment with a family feel, so you will be in safe hands.

Hours - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5pm. No Saturday or weekend working required.

**What will I be doing?**
- Efficiently route plan all our local customer deliveries utilising the available fleet designated to the area you are covering on the given day.
- Identify improvements or savings in the route planning and supply sourcing processes.
- Work with the team by taking phone calls for orders and enquiries and assist and price if appropriate.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, hauliers and suppliers alike to ensure any delivery issues are identified and resolved swiftly.
- Stay Safe - Set the tone and champion a Stay Safe culture across the branch at all times promoting a healthy workplace and colleague wellbeing.
