The Senior Technical Implementation Consultant will be responsible for owning the overall technical design of assigned projects as well as recommending best practices for solutions based on client business needs. This role will require strategic design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system and technical requirements.

The Senior Technology Consultant will work with internal and external cross-disciplinary teams to capture and document requirements and implement solutions that address these requirements in the best way possible. Implementation will require learning the configuration settings within the product and a sound knowledge of SQL for any table level data manipulations and data analysis.

**General Job Duties**:

- Work with Project Managers to implement projects on schedule and to budget
- Develop solutions for clients using a variety of technologies
- Participate and feed into technical discussions, requirements gathering and white boarding.
- Conduct implementation pilots and help customer envision final solution.
- Deal effectively and professionally with requests that have the potential to disrupt schedule whilst keeping all parties informed and appraised of impact.
- Periodically, with the wider services team, review documentation and tools to keep them up to date with product evolution and continuously improve processes.
- Produce and manage technical client-facing documentation.
- Work remotely, Self motivation to manage time, completing allocated tasks within their timeframe

**Preferred Education**:

- Either
- Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Engineering or equivalent.
- Equivalent professional experience in IT or production environments.

**Required Experience**:

- Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other ANSI SQL based system.
- 3+ yrs of experience delivering commercial projects via service organizations.
- Experience working with REST and SOAP webservices
- Extensive troubleshooting experience
- Experience of working on data migration and data loading activities
- Demonstrate the ability to prepare / maintain a variety of project documents to a high standard

**Other Skills**:

- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 20% possible)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including writing, editing, and presentation
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently

**Preferred Knowledge and Skills**:

- Understanding of Master Data Management projects
- Experience of working with/in heavy production environments such as Oil and Gas, Mining etc.
- Experience of Cloud based deployments
- Experience of working in both waterfall and agile implementation models
- Experience of working with Middleware and on System Integration Projects
- Experience of working with bug tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, VSTS)
