Colour Consultants are the brand experts and ambassadors of colour, offering expert advice and support to customers in their own home, by video or in the showroom.
Reporting to the Showroom Manager, our Colour Consultants will have:
- Experience in colour and interior design.
- Experience in a retail sales environment.
- Possess a strong attention to detail and will be highly organised.
- The confidence to present to groups of customers in event situations.
- The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and also on their own.
**THE ROLE INCLUDES**
- Visiting customers in their home to assist with their projects, through expert knowledge of all Little Greene colours and wallpapers.
- Holding colour consultancy appointments in the showrooms with customers to assist with their projects, through expert knowledge of all Little Greene colours and wallpapers.
- Holding colour consultancy appointments online via video link with customers to assist with their projects, through expert knowledge of all Little Greene colours and wallpapers.
- Liaising with the showroom teams about customer bookings and payments, invoices and orders.
- Ensuring the showroom teams have the knowledge to talk with confidence about the Colour Consultancy service.
- Preparing specification reports within 24 hours of visit, ensuring all materials and prices are listed correctly.
- Working with the Showroom Manager on scheduling and delivering customer events in the showroom to educate customers in colour and to offer the colour consultancy service.
- Assisting in the creation of presentation content.
- Networking with local builders, decorators, interior designers to build the profile of the showroom and the Colour Consultancy service.
- Maintaining an up to date expert knowledge of our full range of colours and wallpapers.
- Maintaining an up to date knowledge of interior design & colour consultation.
- Attending events and trade shows whilst acting as an ambassador for the brand.
- Assisting in the showroom as required by the Showroom Manager to cover absences or holidays.
There is a Colour Consultancy kit (including Colour Albums, laptop etc.) that needs to be transported from appointment to appointment. Little Greene will provide a case for this but there is an element of manual lifting in this role which should be acknowledged.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £16.00-£16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
