Finance Apprentice

**Job Roles Include**:

- Processing paper and digital invoices and inputting data.
- Maintain ledgers and reconciliations of balances.
- Administer all relevant completed paperwork records, scanning, shredding, archiving etc.
- Filing and housekeeping of supplier invoices.
- Supporting the Finance team with a range of office administrative, ad-hoc finance related tasks as required.
- Assist with month-end management accounts and financial year end procedures.
- Use of accounting software Sage - training will be provided.
- Take incoming Finance related calls in a professional manner.
- Monitor Finance inbox and respond to colleagues and suppliers.

**Skills and Qualities Required**:

- GCSE'S at grades A*- C/ 9-4 (equivalent) in Maths and English.
- IT qualification (or equivalent) would be beneficial however not essential.
- Punctual, presentable with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about beginning a career in Finance with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Excellent numeric and IT skills.
- Ability to organise workload with good analytical skills and attention to detail.

**What you will receive**:

- Level 2 Finance Apprenticeship (AAT) with the opportunity to progress further.
- Training in accountancy software Sage.
- 40 hour week Monday - Friday. 9am-5pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £10,004.80 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Chester, CH2 3BE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
