We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Whatton, a catergory**C mens**prison located in **Nottingham**

**Hours**

The site currently offers bank shifts.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care

**You'll receive a bank rate of £14.76**

**Qualifications required**
- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment
