An exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our Meeting and Events Team as a Co-ordinator.
**£500 REWARD - Join us and you can receive a £250 Welcome Payment in months 2 and 6 of employment.**
Our Meeting and Events Team is key to our business as they are often the first point of contact many of our guests have with our Hotel. As a Meeting & Events Coordinator you will provide our guests with a personal service for all types of meetings and events, large and small. As part of the team you will work both re-actively and proactively to sell the hotel and its facilities to potential guests.

What will I be doing as Meeting and Events Coordinator?
- Be fully conversant with the daily availability of hotel bedroom stock in order to sell rooms effectively in line with our selling strategy.
Meeting potential clients and assisting them with initial enquiries including hosting a show round of the hotel areas
- Conducting show rounds in a professional manner utilising the allotted time effectively to convert business.
- Actively promote all hotel revenue outlets in order to generate additional revenue for the hotel.
- Learning and building your knowledge on all the hotel's products and services
- Attending familiarisation trips, sales events and wedding shows as required
- Attending training & completing e-learning modules to improve your skills and aid your development
- Fully Flexible as main working days will be Tuesday to Saturday
What will I need as a Meeting and Events Coordinator?
- At least 1 years experience in either Reservations or Events co-ordination in the hotel/conference market; ideally with prior experience of weddings
- Good computer skills and experience of a large PMS system, ideally Opera/ Events 500
