**Description**
**The Sr Database Security Administrator supports the Database Activity Monitoring Program will have experience with various data structures, database structures, data platforms - including on premises and Cloud environments, data models, and dataservices. Prior experience in a Database Activity Monitoring Program or initiative is key. A proven track record of successfully maintaining large-scale initiatives is critical. Responsible for the selection and delivery of strategic network security, accesscontrol and secure transaction/messaging solutions.**
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Provides required information for audit and compliance
- Ensures and reviews appropriate testing practices.
- Maintains vendor relationships for Imperva products and services and ensures product related issues are resolved.
- Creates presentations and seeks management approval and acceptance
- Tracks, documents, and communicates team metrics, accomplishments, and successes.
- Provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems.
- May be assigned to project teams for technical consultation to business partners and developers.
- Designs & engineers comprehensive access management and network security technical solutions based on business requirements and defined technology standards; works with architecture to update technology direction & strategy.
- Must be capable of providing support for 2 or more of the information security technology common body of knowledge skill sets: 1) Access Control, 2) Application Security, 3) Operations Security
**Essential experience**
- A minimum of 8 year's experience in database administration with at least 3 of these in security aspects of information systems, access management and network security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systemsdevelopment and management, hardware, software, data, and people.
- Previously worked with or has knowledge of Imperva or other Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) technology for on-premises relational databases and Cloud vendor supported databases including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required.
- Requires broad-based experience to plan and design highly complex systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
**Desirable**
- Security Certifications: CISSP and other advanced technical security certifications (e.g. Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, Information Security Engineering Professional, Certification and Accreditation Professional, or equivalentcertifications) strongly preferred.
- Basic networking knowledge preferred.
