**Purpose**
Established in 1986, City in the Community is the registered charity of Manchester City and exists to empower healthier lives through football. Our programmes place physical and mental wellbeing at their core, whilst also creating healthy futures and healthy communities.
The purpose of this role is to coordinate all aspects of CITC’s City Inspires programme in order to motivate and inspire participants to be more successful through high quality delivery, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships and creating new, innovative ideas.
**Accountabilities**
- Coordinate a team of Delivery Coaches to deliver a programme of inclusive, targeted projects, engaging participants across a wide range of ages, social backgrounds and abilities. This includes all aspects of delivery; practical, monitoring and evaluation and relationship building in the educational settings.
- To work closely with key stakeholders within CITC, CFG and Premier League to develop and implement the PL Inspires programme. This will include maintaining and building relationships with existing and potential partners.
- Accountability for progressing and reporting on set KPIs and outcomes associated with each project to develop, maintain and grow a strong working relationship with the Premier League Charitable Fund and any additional funders.
- Create, maintain and develop relationships with internal partners from CITC and the wider City Football Group (CFG), local authorities and governing bodies to develop CITC’s reputation and reach, promoting all CITC programmes across Greater Manchester.
- Regularly reviewing individual performances within the team, providing high quality session observations and structured feedback to assess, identify and provide training and CPD opportunities which continuously improves the standard of delivery on the programmes.
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
**Essential**
- In-depth understanding of Secondary Education and potential NEET students
- Track record of managing challenging behaviour in participants
- Knowledge of Education pathways
- Solid experience of working in and liaising with schools, organisations and external funding partners
- GCSEs or equivalent in English, Maths and Science
- Experience of managing a team
- Competent across Microsoft office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Creative and passionate about continuous improvement
- Resilient and adaptable to change
- Excellent and inclusive team-working abilities
- Full clean driver’s license
**Desirable**
- Degree level education
- Coaching qualification in one other relevant sport
- Experience and knowledge of working within a brand environment and understanding the responsibilities that are associated with representing a Premier League Football Club
- Experience of coordinating Premier League Charitable Fund programmes and achieving associated KPI’s and outcomes
- Specific knowledge of female engagement and/or youth engagement programmes
- Minimum Level 2 Coaching Certificate in Football
- Line management
- Presentation skills
- Experience of delivering educational training for team members and other professionals
- Understanding of City in the Community Foundation and its projects
- Budget management and reporting
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £28,271.76 per year
