Airco Developments Ltd are a small but growing Duct and Kitchen Ventilation Installation business in Midlothian and are looking to recruit an experienced and flexible Buyer/Stores Controller to join your busy workplace.

The role covers a wide range of responsibilities and works autonomously with office, workshop, install teams and our supply chain.

The main responsibilities are
- Sourcing and buying materials and plant for workshop manufacture and site installations.
- Controlling inventories and stock levels to agreed levels and targets
- Providing weekly stock count data to management
- Co-ordinate deliveries for all materials and plant to customer sites.
- Maintain Hired in Plant register and co-ordinate off-on hire on project-by-project basis
- Control van fleet approx. 12 vehicles
- servicing, MOT and Repairs, Hire, Trackers.

Key Attributes Required
- Adaptive and flexible to changing needs of customer and programs
- Can do mentality
- Experience in maintaining inventory in scanning/bar coding methods
- Ability to deal with range of suppliers and negotiate prices, terms, lead times etc
- Work across range of functions and be proactive.
