**DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE UK - WE CAN'T HELP WITH VISAS** ** **SELF-EMPLOYED POSITION -** **FEMALE THERAPISTS ONLY ** Artisa Spa is currently recruiting experienced massage therapists who specialise in any of the following treatments: - Deep Tissue Massage - Sports Massage - Lymphatic Drainage (manual) - Pregnancy Massage - Hot-Stone Massage - Reflexology - Indian Head Massage - Thai Massage - Aromatherapy Knowledge of basic beauty treatments such as facials and body scrubs is welcome but not necessary. We operate on the highest standards, offering **5/5-star** service at all times. **SHIFTS & AVAILABILITY**: - We offer **6-hour** shifts only. - Monday to Saturday shifts**:4pm - 10pm**: - Sunday shifts**:3pm - 8pm**: - There are no guaranteed breaks during these shifts. - Flexible availability will guarantee you more shifts. - We issue the rota two months in advance. So once the shifts you've agreed to have been published, you are expected to honour them on time. **SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS** - You must be proficient in the treatments you provide. - You must be able to work under pressure. - **You must be able to communicate well in English**. This skill is a requirement (we will accept nothing less). - You must be qualified to live, work, and practice massage and beauty treatments (if applicable) in the UK. **CONTRACT & PAYMENT** - Payment is **£22/hr of massage provided **and **£17/hr for beauty treatments**, with a **£50 minimum guarantee **per shift. - Your payment will increase by **£1/hr for every year you stay** with our company. - This is a six-month **services contract** so you will be **self-employed**. - **Payments are made weekly** to your bank account every Thursday. - **First two weeks are kept as a security deposit** and paid back to you once you've served your notice. **OTHER BENEFITS**: - Work with east London's highest rated massage spa - Friendly and relaxed environment - Opportunity to grow within the company - Flexible working schedule - Great location with a private garden - Only 6' walk from Leyton Central line station - Up to 60% staff discount at Artisa Spa - Free tea & coffee **Responsibilities and Duties**: You will consult with our clients to understand their treatment goals, manage their expectations, provide effective massage treatments and advise them on their condition and how our services can help. You must be able to advocate and explain treatment plans (where beneficial), schedule follow-up appointments at the optimum time-frequency, provide quality aftercare advice and build relationships with each of our clients. We expect you to grow and maintain a client base by supporting our clients through their individual needs and upsell further regular treatment plans and packages at a frequency that offers preventative care. You are responsible for the professionalism required to provide consistent and effective treatments and self-care habits and present in the necessary physical, mental and emotional state. This and investing in skill gaps will enable you to enjoy a fully booked schedule within a couple of weeks of joining our team. We promise to furnish you with all the necessary equipment, marketing, services and facilities to grow and maintain a fully booked schedule within Artisa Spa.
