MiGrowth are pleased to be partnering a fast growing organisation experiencing healthy organic growth looking to expand their offering within the European market.
Together we are looking for Head of Vendor Operations who will be responsible for the overall functions of the Business Operations teams.
It includes full accountability of Vendor Operations Management and Vendor Operations Support functions and associated teams within the department. You will have 6 direct report in the Purchasing team. You will be responsible for 12.5 Million worth of stock**.**_**Pricing, Scheduling ,Purchasing, Manmagement of the team**_
**Who we are looking for**:

- At least 4 years previous experience in distribution operations or a similar field.
- At least 4 years previous experience successfully managing significant sized teams & people
- Worked in a fast-paced environment, and can prioritise their workload effectively
- Excellent knowledge or purchasing and supply chain processes
- Strong communication skills, with a strategic and analytical mind
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem solving
**What you will be doing**:

- Responsible for driving the performance of multiple teams within Business Operations, providing daily management, effective mentoring, training, and coaching
- Accountability of the team's delivery on all aspects of their role, as per the published job specifications.
- Act as an escalation path as required.
- Maintain supply chain inventory across multiple warehouses.
- Accountability for purchasing decisions made by Vendor Operations Management and Vendor Operations Support.
- Drive key initiatives through the Business Operations teams.
- Align with company priorities and company objectives.
- Ensure accurate and on-time reporting to all required vendors and internal teams.
- Establish good working relationships and provide support for staff, other departments, vendors and suppliers.
- Liaise closely with Head of Customer Services and Head of Sales Support.
- Evaluate and report on KPI's against financial performance targets.
