Delivery Driver

**Overview**

Being a Delivery Driver means you are at the forefront of our business, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service at all times, ensuring all deliveries are made on time, hot and fresh. As a **Delivery Driver** for Domino’s you will earn an initial base rate up to **£9.50ph** (dependant on age). An additional **£1.00 - £1.20** per delivery drop.

**Purpose of the Role**:

- Deliver an exceptional service to our customers as a representative of Domino’s Pizza.
- Ability to carry out deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
- Effective time management skills.
- Conduct yourself whilst driving in a manner that does not detract from the Domino’s Pizza brand image.
- Ability to effectively manage the in store delivery system and any operational duties.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the team.
- Ownership and responsibility for cash handling policy.
- Ability to deal with customer queries and complaints effectively at all times
- Support the store in the general running and housekeeping.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Friendly, makes eye contact and a well-mannered approach with customers.
- Pro-active in planning and organising of time ensuring that orders are received by the customer within the specified time frame.
- Delivering products safely and securely, avoiding unnecessary risks by adhering to all safety and security Policies
- Competent Driving Skills ensuring that all driving limits, diversions and road signs are adhered to.
- Ensure that the Float and all items of Domino’s Pizza property is returned at the end of every shift.
- Communicate effectively whilst on the road if a situation has occurred.
- General housekeeping during quiet periods.
- Pro-actively deals with customers complaints at pace and apologise for mistakes made.

**Essential Skills and Requirements**:

- A Full Driving Licence
- Access to a vehicle
- Valid MOT, Insurance and tax
- You must be over 18 years old (Insurance Requirement)
- Good communication and hardworking
- Available to work over evenings and weekends
- Good knowledge of local area
- Previous Customer Service Experience (desirable)
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Not had a driving ban within the past 5 years

**Base wage and delivery payment up to £1.20 per drop during peak times, potential earnings of £13.10/hr**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £11.44 per hour
