Huntsman has a rare opportunity for a Materials Coordinator to join their dedicated Supply Chain team in Duxford, UK.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the goods inbound process working with warehouse and purchasing teams, making sure raw materials are on time for production.
As the Materials Coordinator, you will:
- Be the key point of contact for goods incoming queries and documentation.
- Coordinate re-life process.
- Lead root cause analysis of service complaints.
- Be responsible for Supplier Non-Conformance initiation and monitoring.
- Coordinate sample process through communication with production, planning and PTC teams.
- Look after indirect purchasing for Supply Chain team.
- Coordinate stock transfers with Demand Planning Team.
- Act as support to Procurement Team.
- Provide performance data from SAP to track site KPI’s.
- Be involved with optimisation of stock control for raw materials and products in the Warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and ISO standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Degree qualification
- CIPS / APICS desirable
- Previous experience in using SAP or any other ERP
- Understanding of process environment
- Experience of procurement or stock control
- High focus on data and metrics
- Ability to work in a changing environment
- Building relationships and networking
- Team worker
- Highly organised and effective
- Good communication skills
- Computer Literacy and high proficiency in major IT tools (SAP, Excel, BI).
