**Job Overview - Bar Supervisor (Personal Licence Holder Required)**
We are looking for a confident, experienced, and proactive **Bar Supervisor** to join our vibrant and growing team. In this supervisory role, you will take the lead in delivering outstanding customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the bar. As a key holder and Personal Licence holder, you will ensure the legal and responsible service of alcohol, uphold licensing objectives, and motivate the team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and support daily bar operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and staff performance.
- **Serve as the designated Personal Licence holder on shift**, ensuring full compliance with all licensing laws and alcohol regulations.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly and to a high standard.
- Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is functioning and maintained.
- Lead by example in upholding food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
- Accurately handle cash, card transactions, and end-of-day cashing-up procedures, with strong attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and a cohesive customer experience.
- Provide coaching and guidance to bar staff, helping to train new team members and maintain a positive working environment.
- Manage rotas, stock control, and supply orders in coordination with management.
- Create and sustain a welcoming, friendly, and professional atmosphere for all patrons.
**Experience & Requirements**
- **Personal Licence** is essential.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior bartending role within the hospitality industry is strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of alcohol service laws, licensing regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock calculations.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team during busy periods.
- Exceptional communication and time management skills.
- Positive, approachable, and professional attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
