Maintenance Engineer required for an industry leading manufacturer who are well renowned in their industry. They operate across 3 sites in the UK and boast a great team environment. They truly invest in training and development for their employees and offerregular overtime opportunities to boost potential earnings.
Reporting to the Engineering manager and working alongside a small team of shift engineers, you will predominantly be responsible for reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a range of production machinery. Electrically, you will work on AC/DC motors, drivesand 3 phase electrics. Mechanically, you will work on bearings, pumps, valves and gearboxes. The company are investing heavily on site with current and upcoming upgrade projects and you will work along OEM specialists for installation and commissioning. Therole is heavily weighted to reactive maintenance currently but the company have plans to implement a more robust PPM schedule.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a varied role and exposure to a wide range of machinery. The site is clean, tidy and organised. The company are investing in new capital equipment and are investing in their engineers on an ongoing basis.
The Maintenance Engineer Role:
*Reactive Maintenance on a wide range of machinery
*Pre-planned maintenance
*Both mechanical and electrical maintenance
*Project and installation work due to huge investment on site
*Ongoing training and development
*Continental Shift Pattern (4 On, 4 Off)
The Person:
*Can transfer from ANY manufacturing or industrial background
*Can be either mechanically or electrical biased
*Must have experience working on 3 phase electrics as a minimum
