**About the Role**:
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated SEMH Outreach Worker to support young people who are not currently in education. You will work with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and personal development.
As an SEMH Outreach Worker, you will:
- Provide one-to-one mentoring and emotional support.
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and local services to develop personalized learning plans.
- Help students build confidence, self-esteem, and resilience.
- Assist in reintegrating students back into education or employment pathways.
- Address and manage challenging behaviors in a supportive, positive way.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Establish trusting relationships with young people who may be facing challenges such as anxiety, behavioral issues, or social exclusion.
- Create and implement intervention strategies tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Engage students in activities and projects designed to develop life skills, coping strategies, and social confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support holistic student development.
**About You**:

- Have experience working with young people, particularly those with SEMH needs.
- Are empathetic, patient, and non-judgmental.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are resilient, able to work independently, and have a flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Have a commitment to inclusion and equality in education.
**Essential Qualifications and Experience**:
- Experience in SEMH support or working with young people in similar environments.
- A valid driving license is desirable as travel between different locations may be required.
- Relevant qualifications in youth work, social work, or mental health support (preferred but not essential).
