**Bracknell Social Group Support Worker (FTC 1 yr)**:
Job description
To assist in the provision of a weekly social group for adults aged 18+ with a range of learning disabilities/autism in venues in the Bracknell Forest area and surrounding areas such as bowling, the cinema, disco’s, trips to the pub and meals out, walks and picnics at local parks.
Promise Inclusion is a local charity supporting local people to be included in their local community. The Bracknell Social Group Support Worker will liaise and work with the Bracknell Social Group Co-ordinator and undertake tasks as directed to deliver social activities. They will ensure adequate supervision of activities, help to facilitate activities and to support people with learning disabilities/autism. Support all aspects of Promise Inclusion’s policies including those on Equal Opportunities and Safeguarding and be aware and meet the needs of individual adults. Be willing to participate in any necessary specialist training and to undertake such additional duties as may be necessary for the efficient operation of the group and to maintain communication with other staff, volunteers, parents, and carers.
The post is based in the community in venues in the Bracknell Forest area and surrounding areas.
Average 2 hrs p/w - Tuesday evenings
