**BIRMINGHAM (x2 a week)**

**£35,000 - £45,000**

**THE ROLE**

As a Financial Insight Analyst, your focus will be to aid the business in providing insights across financial, customer and credit data. You can expect to:

- Work daily with SQL to query and manipulate large data sets, producing actionable recommendations for optimising campaigns and improving customer offerings
- Lead the way in transferring analysis to become automated through SQL and Python
- Extracting key insights from a wide range of sources, including marketing, credit risk, fraud, finance and commercial data which will assist business decisions
- Merge data warehouses together to build a one true source of data

**YOUR SKILLS**

You will be expected to:

- Have previous analyst experience in a commercial role
- Have strong SQL to query and code large data sets, having used it in a previous role
- Be analytically minded and have a passion for assisting data-led decisions
- Experience in Python/R for data modelling and automation
- Experience working across different teams, pulling data from a wide range of sources
- Great communicator and able to convey complicated technical terms in digestible language
