**CRIMINAL SOLICITOR**

A top National law firm is looking to recruit a Criminal Solicitor to join their Business Crime & Regulation Team in Manchester.

**Role Overview**

This role is to assist the partner and other case handlers with their legal caseloads, and manage your own case load.

The role will require police station cover, attendance at court and preparation for Crown Court cases.
- The ability to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of criminal law, practices and procedures including PACE.
- The ability to advise at Police Stations in all cases. (Police Station Accreditation required)
- The ability to prepare cases at all levels of court in connection with crime law issues.
- An ability to undertake advocacy at court in connection with crime cases (no higher rights).
- The ability to determine appropriately the need for experts, agents or counsel to be instructed upon issues which they are to address.
- The ability to understand and put into practice LSC Franchise requirements.
