Express Utilities are part of a family of companies owned by BUUK Infrastructure group and we are currently recruiting for 6 Water Team Leaders to carry out the Installation including testing chlorinating and commissioning of new water mains in accordance with company and Group procedures which are undertaken by the Construction department. These full time, permanent positions are based in Birmingham, Nottingham, Coventry, Oxford areas.

We are looking for someone with NCO02 for Main Laying / Service Laying (or equivalent) and Butt fusion tickets above and below 315mm. While it is not essential that you have had previous experience within this sector before, you must have a full UK Driving Licence. Training on our systems and the company will be provided.

**Responsibilities will include -**
- Work safely at all times wearing relevant PPE that is supplied and adhere to all group policies and procedures.
- Install and commission water (and gas/electric/fibre where required) infrastructure as instructed, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.
- Accept delivery of plant and materials and check fitness for purpose prior to use.
- Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager.
- Identify in a timely manner all contract variations and report to the Project Manager and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure
- Complete site-specific risk assessments on a daily basis and ensure a safe working environment is always maintained.
- If qualified act as a Competent Person for ROs and NROs.
- Attend participate in “toolbox talks” and other training courses as required.
- Record accurately details of work undertaken and submit relevant work details for recording and invoicing in the required timescale.
