Scientific Director - Fully Remote - Up to £90k
On behalf of our rapidly growing client, we are recruiting for a Scientific Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Scientific Director or even a Scientific Consultant to join a global collaboration consultancy that leads international experts throughtheir medical decision-making process for pharmaceutical clients.

The Scientific Director will be responsible for:

- Provide exemplary support leadership and guidance within the scientific team to ensure that scientific communication and scientific consultancy is carried out to the highest standards and meets with client expectations
- Drive communication strategies, developing key scientific communication points, strategically focused documents, and deliverables to support product positioning and brand vision
- Maintain a hands-on approach to the creation and review of key deliverables to ensure scientific excellence, strategic alignment, and quality
- Guide the team in developing their skills, through mentoring and coaching
- Establish positive long-term relationships with a wide range of contacts in client organisations to contribute to the organic growth of the business

The Scientific Director should have the following:

- Strong biological sciences background - a biological life sciences degree, probably with a PhD but not necessarily
- Previous significant experience in medical communications, pharmaceutical industry/healthcare
- Raw confidence - you’ll be interacting with highly educated and interesting clients’ globally, so you’ll need to be comfortable and to be able to ‘hold your own’
- A proven track record in coaching/mentoring others to develop their potential and inspire them
- Confidently manage and communicate with people at all levels
