Role: Risk Surveyor
Territory: Home Counties to North Midlands
**Salary**: £28,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience
We are looking for a risk surveyor to join our growing risk surveying practise, the role involves carrying out Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCA) on buildings, to provide our clients with a figure to rebuild the entire premises and provide a 'day one reinstatement'figure known as the declared value.
This vacancy is a full-time position, we are looking for someone to carry out assessments in a territory encompassing Home Counties to North Midlands.
RCA experience is useful but not essential as full training will be provided, personality, attitude and commitment and would be a greater priority. A willingness to learn and be part of a team is essential
**Job Role**
- Managing own workload of RCA surveys.
- Workload and diary organisation.
- Managing and updating online portals to ensure information is recorded safely, promptly and correctly.
- Production of reports through online system
- Understand and utilise building rate information, online mapping tools and online measuring tools.
- Carrying out safe and correct property surveys, efficiently and accurately.
- Support the surveying team in delivering a high-quality service. Ensuring that workloads are handled in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain high customer service levels
- Build, maintain and enhance relationships with our clients
- Integrate into our team and build positive relationships with colleagues
**Personal specification or requirements**
- You will need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate with people of all levels of seniority.
- You will need to be diligent and pro-active with the ability to prioritise and act on your own initiative.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail are required.
- A flexible approach and willingness to travel around the UK is required.
