The Senior Leadership Team and Governors of Boothroyd Primary Academy are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Nursery Nurse Assistant who will play a crucial role in empowering our pupils to overcome challenges, develop essential life skills, and achieve their full potential.
- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5 in line with EYFS framework
- Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based learning, both inside and outside.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor and record children’s progress, identifying areas for support and development.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Carry out intimate care duties including toileting, nappy changing, and supporting children with personal hygiene needs in a respectful and sensitive manner.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to support each child’s development
- Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
- **Qualifications & Experience**:

- Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
- Good standard of general education together with GCSE grade C or above in English & Maths
- Ideally paediatric first aid trained
- Experience working in a nursery or school setting
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to childcare
