**About the Opportunity**:
We are now looking to recruit a Shift Lead working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights) within the Production Department at Muller Bridgwater to enable the team to deliver targets and continuously improve performance by coaching and developing our people.

**Responsibilities**
- People management including delivery of performance reviews, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues
- Creating and delivering development plans
- Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems
- Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives
- Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business
- Deep knowledge of Operational Excellence, coaching team on use of the principles and tools
- Utilises all available opportunities, enabling others to improve the way we do things

**Key Tasks**
- Creating and delivering development plans
- Creating succession pathways both up through and across organisation
- High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills
- Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems
- Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to “100 year fix” in real time
- Encourages others to seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operational excellence projects
- Owns and delivers operational excellence initiatives and is recognised for these
- Looks and encourages others to find “waste” opportunities in everything that we do
