London, United Kingdom Transforming Autism Project Full time

Our Child Psychotherapists at the Transforming Autism Project have a goal to intervene very early in instances of autism, and to unlock the true potential of autistic children. Our developmental approach is inspired by the Mifne Method of early intervention, founded on the principles of Attachment and Containment.

As a charity, we deliver this unique approach through empowering parents to enable their autistic children to thrive and reach their full potential by facilitating their innate confidence through real trust-based relationships.

With our first Child Psychotherapists and Occupational Therapists now in place, preparing for the launch of our family services this year, we are growing our team. As a developing charity, we are interested in talking to Child Psychotherapists who resonate with our ethics and values, and who would be interested in joining our team of volunteers to support our growth as a charity by using your professional experience and knowledge in running and/supporting sessions, supporting autistic children and their families in their homes as part of our family services sessions.

Please feel welcome to contact us to discuss this further. We look forward to speaking to you.

What are we looking for?

**We are interested in talking to you if you are**:
Degree qualified within a relevant area of Child Psychotherapy or Child Psychology

ACP registered

Previous relevant experience of working within the field of autism

Have a passion for our approach

What difference will you make?

Without early interventions, autistic children & parents will continue to be on the same path, living with the same level of confusion. By changing the world of individuals, we can begin to change the world’s perception of autism.

What's in it for the volunteer?

This opportunity would be ideal for a professional who is looking to give back, or to through themselves into being able to practice the Mifne Method.
