Trainee Accountant

Sheridan Maine is partnering with a growing accountancy practice that is currently recruiting for a Trainee Practice Accountant.This opportunity will suit an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in progressing their career as an Accountant.The firmprides itself in having a friendly and supportive work culture and is looking for like minded individuals who wish to grow and develop alongside the company.
Responsibilities of the Trainee Accountant include:

- Managing a portfolio of client accounts, building rapport and assisting with queries
- Liaising with clients both over the phone and with face-to-face meetings to provide finance support
- Participating in ad-hoc projects
- Preparing management information and VAT for review
- Completing files to include supporting schedules in respect of the balance sheet items
- Preparing payment runs for review
- Assisting with the initial preparation of management information

To be considered for the role of Trainee Accountant you will ideally have a minimum of 1 year experience of working in a transactional accounting environment.
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
