Support worker required to work with a 17-year-old boy for up to 4 hours per week on a Saturday morning to take and support at Youth Zone. Some flexibility would be required if hours needed to be changed to a weeknight after school, but this would be discussed and agreed with you.

You will be supporting a teenager who is happy, chatty, seeks reassurance if anxious, struggles a lot with change, likes routine, loves being outdoors, climbing, basketball, archery swings, slides, loves water, paddling, swimming, chucking rocks.

We are looking for someone who is active and enjoys the outdoors, you will need experience of working with young adults with autism and learning difficulties and you will need to be proactive to care needs and think ahead to dissolve potential issues using distraction and redirection techniques.

You will need to hold your own driving licence and willing to use your own car with business cover on your insurance. A DBS is required, and cost met by the employer.

Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
