Pharmacy Counter Assistant

We are looking for a Trainee Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our Perth York Pl branch. Experience is preferred by not essential as full training will be given via Buttercups Training course. The position is part-time.
You will be working under directed supervision of the pharmacist. Main roles and responsibilities include:
- Meet and greet our patients in a friendly caring manner and establish what their needs are in pharmacy that day.
- Follow the sale of medicines protocol and use appropriate questions to gather information to make appropriate sales and to provide advice to patients on the use of medicines as well as general health and lifestyle matters.
- Receive and hand out prescriptions.
- Stock management - ordering, receiving and storing
- Maintaining shop cleanliness, making sure shelves are tidy, stock rotation and date checking.
- Checking off orders against invoices from suppliers and flagging up any stock which is missing/ damaged.
- Assisting in providing pharmacy services such as Smoking Cessation, Pharmacy First and Chronic Medication Service.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
