Are you looking for a cleaning role that is a little different?

We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working at one of our schools, Huby School, Huby, York.

You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic. Working for NYC as a Cleaner/Caretaker, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings.

Full training will be provided, and the hours are between 3:30pm to 6:30pm, with some flexibility on start and finish time and totalling to 15 hours per week over 5 days. For this you will be paid £12.26 per hour. No weekend work

You will also have Caretaking responsibilities of locking the site after cleaning, setting the alarm, and ensuring the site is fully secure. For this we will pay you an additional £12.45 per hour based on 5 hours per week. In addition to this Huby School can offer additional Caretaker responsibilities of opening the site in the morning and ensuring the site is safe for use. This will also include looking after the school’s swimming pool during the summer months. Full training will be provided for this. For this we will pay you an additional £12.45 per hour based on 2.5 hours per week.
