**Job Title: Graphic Designer (six month contract)**
**Location: Newcastle upon Tyne**
**Salary: Negotiable depending on experience**

Our client, an ambitious organisation in the education sector, is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team for an initial six month contract, potentially to be extended or made permanent. The role is to be responsible for designing a broad spectrum of high quality, on brand marketing materials across digital and print formats.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Design and create high-quality brand-building marketing materials in line with creative briefs, including digital and print formats such as brochures, flyers, digital advertising and campaign artwork.
- Design and create new visual devices and artwork to be used in campaigns such as iconography, graphic devices, etc.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and in line with agreed SLAs.
- Ensure that all design work is brand-aligned, consistent, and of the highest quality.
- Stay up to date with design trends, developments and best practices to ensure our materials are fresh, relevant and engaging.
- Contribute to campaign and project development in the form of idea generation, creative direction and concept design.
- Design artwork to technical specifications, ensuring that all files are prepared and supplied correctly for print and/or digital production.
- Support the brand and content teams in the development of brand-building toolkits and templates and contribute to the ongoing development of best-practice guidelines.
- Provide specialist design and creative support across the department and wider organisation to empower colleagues to deliver on-brand, relevant and engaging content.
- Act as a brand guardian to ensure all marketing materials produced through the creative studio adhere to brand guidelines.
- Provide occasional administrative support where relevant including monitoring the creative studio inbox.
