Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL) is the trading arm of The Salvation Army in the UK and Republic of Ireland. **The role**:
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to carry out all Payroll processes, end to end, for our monthly payroll. These need to be carried out with the highest standard to meet the needs of the company, our colleagues and current legislation.

The salary for this role is circa £23k DOE.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Processing end to end of monthly payroll using Snowdrop (migrating to MitreFinch) for 300 circa employees. Posting all payroll related sums to accounting software.
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation and keeping the company up to date with any changes
- Ensuring all SSP, SPP, SMP, and any other statutory payments are paid accurately and where necessary within government and company guidelines
- Resolving any issues with employees in a timely manner
- Carrying out any other duties as required by the Payroll Manager

**Desirable Skills and Qualifications**
- Knowledge and experience of using MitreFinch T&A and Flexipay (desirable not essential)
- Previous experience working in Payroll, ideally a minimum of 2 years
- Excellent computer skills, proficiency on applicable databases and systems. Requires a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
