I’m working with a global organisation who are industry leaders with a recognisable branding within their sector.

I’m seeking a Process Engineering Manager who has a hands-on approach to develop, implement, monitor and maintain efficient and safe manufacturing processes.

This is a very exciting role to join a site that are experience exciting refurbishment and development with a brand new plant which will be built shortly, this will give this individual the opportunity to head up the engineering across a brand new plant.

The process Engineering Manager who will act as a ‘hybrid’ between process engineering and maintenance management as this is growing site and team who need a mixture of hands on maintenance support and direction and someone who can also develop processes,maintenance systems and the team for the future.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- To coordinate and lead the team for all engineering activities on site and ensure high levels of safety management are maintained and ensure adherence to any relevant standards and code of best practices.
- To ensure machinery is running to optimum performance, and machinery breakdowns are completed efficiently and effectively
- Identify inefficiencies in process & packing plant and equipment and facilitate their improvement
- Assist with the implementation of new raw materials, packaging and products within the factory
- Lead the development of capital and operational process development projects including specification, tendering, project approval, installation and commissioning
- Identify any safety or quality issues or concerns in the operation of the process plant and equipment

**The Person**:

- Degree qualified engineer or equivalent Or BTEC/C&G Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship or higher
- Minimum 2-3 years manufacturing plant experience ideally within powder processing or chemical environment
- Experience of continuous and lean manufacturing techniques and their practical implementation
