**Automotive Transport Planner**
**Salary - £28,000(paid hourly £14.35ph) Post will be through agency initially**
**Immediate start - Permanent**
**Hours 08:30am - 16:30am - occasional overtime / shift coverage required**
**Shift - Mon-Fri**
**Planning**
**Creating and handling data from customers and vendors, planning cost effective transport movements in line with network / asset optimisation and availability. Creating, handling and supply of driver-load documentation and vehicle bookings. General customerservice enquires on shipment and vehicle tracking, also general vehicle control movements and occasional exception management with speed up transport.**
**Customs**
**Light custom duties required, inspection of customs attachments, general customs customer service between customer and carrier, creating Safe and Security declarations for vehicle movements.**
**A planning background with previous roles is expected, however not essential on the length. A knowledge of custom process is desirable but not expected as we offer comprehensive training packages.**
**A solid understanding and experience with Microsoft packages - Excel/Outlook/Word**
