Suburban Coffee is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and dependable individual to join our team as a Cafe Assistant.

**Schedule**:

- Full-Time or Part-Time
- Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (including term time, not suitable for students returning to school full time)

**Position Duties**:The Cafe Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to Suburban Coffee’s cafe customers, as well as cafe patrons, at the cafe counter. This person will serve customers with food and beverage orders, assist patrons with their meal selections, and assist patrons with their checkout needs. The Cafe Assistant will also perform cleaning duties such as wiping down tables, counters, and floors, sweeping/wringing tables, etc. The Cafe Assistant will also perform other duties as assigned by management. The Cafe Assistant will be a team player and take pride in providing excellent customer service and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including the odd weekends and holidays; based on availability.
- Possess good people skills and be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills with co-workers at the cafe counter and with customers at our cafe.

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
