We are currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join the companies after treatment Engineering Team.

We are looking for modelling and detailing experience in CREO4-7 or other 3D CAD packages with the aptitude to learn CREO quickly.

The successful applicant will be required to design a variety of after-treatment and emissions module components to potentially include: After-treatment canning modules, exhaust pipes, clamped joints, Mounting systems, aluminium and cast-iron castings, fabricatedbrackets and DEF Mixing units. This would suite applicants with experience in Off-Highways design, Automotive or Aerospace industries.

Required Skills and Experience
- Strong technical background (HNC or technical degree preferred in mechanical or automotive engineering) though other qualifications or experience are equally valued / demonstrated progressive experience within a relevant role
- Knowledge of Mechanical & preferably an experience in Aftertreatment systems
- Good understanding of Component Manufacturing principles & processes
- Modelling & Detailing experience in CREO4-7
- Self-motivated, teamwork, organised, good communication skills with an ability to manage and deliver tasks to meet commitments.
- To collaborate & manage interactions on behalf of the company with external suppliers to develop design solutions with APQP tools.
- Experience of running and participating in FMEA
- Ability to use CREO Simulate
- Experience in component and engine validation & verification
- Bolted joint and sealing experience
- Design experience gained in the off-highway diesel or machine sector
- Knowledge and usage of Team Centre - data management software
- Familiarity with Microsoft O365 including Teams

This role is Hybrid with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office, but applicants need to be able to have some flexibility dependent on project needs. The location of site is in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire so must be within commutable distance.

Rate: £28.11 per hour PAYE

Holiday 24 days + BH

Duration: 12 Months
