We’re looking for a Planner based out of our Dumbarton site.

What you’ll do:
- Manage Schedule changes, evaluate purchase orders to create suitable production schedule and create weekly assembly plans.- Support the production of equipment at the manufacturing facilities meet delivery requirements; follow specification; produced within budget and to the right quality.- Prepare schedules and ensure schedules are updated to reflect completed units, record on hold units and any additional updates.- Implement Manufacturing Orders and ensure adherence to processes.- Assess risks to the Production plan and escalate issues.- Responsible for customer communication on changes to plan.- Facilitate the clearance of shortages in advance of MRP processing.
- Support with the creation and management of the Master Production Schedule.- Month end reporting of completions against target and finished goods status.- Co-ordinate with Production & Shipping Controller over fleet collection plans. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives.- Provide advice on production related MRP issues to all departments.- Manage the Production Order Change & Engineering Change Process in conjunction with the Technical & Manufacturing Engineering teams.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field is preferred.- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.- Proven experience working as a production planner.-
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Effective communication skills.
