Support Worker

In a highly rewarding role an Intensive Support Worker works with individuals who require extensive supports around health and / or behavioural contexts. As an Intensive Service Support Worker working in the Newton Mearns and/or Uddingston and surrounding areas you will always focus on the supported people helping them to achieve the things that matter while working effectively with internal teams, partners and families to accomplish this. The salary range is dependent on service and shift pattern that includes day shift, long days and nightshift. **The role**: Your work, which would be varied and can be challenging but highly rewarding, would ensure the outcome-based support plans designed to meet each person’s needs are delivered. You could be assisting with clinical and health care needs, assisting with personal care, meeting the explicit range of competencies as set out by health partners and undertaking specialist training, as required, to be suitably skilled. You may already have or would like to advance your knowledge, training, and skills to provide an excellent intensive home support service; including care to people ventilated in their own homes and those with long term conditions.
