What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Buyer, London to join our Supply Chain Team.

You will be coordinating the timely purchase of all goods and services from new and existing vendors to support the operation of Cleveland Clinic London. You will also be providing support across the entire supply chain function, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing localised agreements and subsequent vendor relationships. Working within the supply chain function, you will be tasked with supporting and delivering a professional procurement service across the entire organization.

What will your duties include?
- Managing the timely processing of purchase orders for all materials, supplies and services with ERP system
- Ensuring compliance to the localised purchase to pay processes, guidelines and approval thresholds, including accurate coding of expenditure to the correct budget
- To act as supply chain lead to work on initiative to ensure compliance to P2P processes and to support roll-out across the wider business
- Proactively manages ordering process in line with company policy including supplier management, expediting of orders to ensure on-time delivery, confirming and receipting of goods and services into the ERP system
- Tracks, validates and monitors spend across the business, ensuring control of expenditure, business commitments whilst ensuring contract compliance to approved vendors
- Working with category team in the resolution and escalation of issues related to pricing, availability of supply, product specifications and utilization
- Maintaining appropriate professional and ethical relationships with all vendor representatives and conducting business according to established principles and guidelines
- Working in collaboration with sourcing teams to ensure relevant product and supplier updates are processed on a timely basis to facilitate an efficient procure to pay process
- Delivering a high-level of customer service to all internal and external customers and vendors at all times
- Providing requestors with direction to effectively follow the approval processes for obtaining products and services when needed.
- Other duties as assinged

What we need from you?
- Demonstrable experience of purchasing or related experience required, ideally within a healthcare environment (preferred)
- Current or previous experience in a customer service role (highly preferred)
- Healthcare experience (essential)
- Supply Chain experience (essential)
- Studying towards or member of the (CIPS) Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (preferred)
- Ability to understand and interpret end user requirements and manage expectations to achieve successful deliverables
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent relationship builder with the ability to work cross functionally across both procurement and other business functions
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
